He wished he could blame someone. He looked around and found no one to pass his aggression and vexation to. Even if he could lay his hands on anyone what good will that do? Nothing can be done anymore.
He found himself at the other side where no material comfort was important. He could no longer enjoy the entourage and convoys he had at his disposal. He was in discomfort, sore hurting. All he could see was gloom, utter darkness. From afar he could hear shoutings which did not sound like those of rejoicing. The cries and wailing grew louder as he approached. The gnashing of teeth was almost forming a rhythm. "Is this an anelegy, threnody, dirge or jisei?", he thought. By the time he got to where the groaning of pain was coming from, and saw the form of the individuals there, he realised he was no longer on the human side of life.
"Am I dead?", where am I? What happened to me?.. countless questions were pouring out from his mouth. Apparently, he had been an awful boss, mischievous business tycoon, disloyal husband to mention a few of his misbehaviors.
While he wondered how he got there, he suddenly found himself at the beautiful side of eternity. The glittering golden streets and the sweetness of the environment, oh what a perfect view.
It is a sin not to prefer this place to the other one. The aura of God's presence kept everything and everyone joyful. For He is their Sun, night and day. No more darkness, weeping, sighing or gnashing of teeth. Just the sight of innumerable company of Angels was enough to daze him. The immortal choristers sang praises of the One who sits on the Throne and into the Lamb that was slain as the Four Beasts worship and the Four and Twenty Elders cast their crowns.

Then a voice said to him...
"The only way to be part of this ecstatic company is to believe in The Way, the Truth and the Life, Jesus Christ. He came, died, rose again and ascended into Heaven, to return very soon.
When he will return both those who crucified Him and those who crowned Him will behold Him, those who pierced Him and those who praised Him will witness His commence.
To some He will be the Lion. To many He will be the Lamb. A Judge to a group an Advocate to some others. He will not be the one to make the selection. The categories are self made. You get to choose who you want Him to be to you. You solely decide the facet you want to see.
Jesus really wishes you make the right choice. He will not compel you. Choice is one of the gifts He gave man. He will only counsel you to do the right thing. His is tenderly saying...
"Chose ye this day whom you will serve..."
Do not allow circumstances influence your decision negatively. Never allow situations that won't last determine your choice of what will last for eternity. Making a permanent decision based in temporary conditions will leave you with regrets. Do not let your decisions be clouded by ephemeral things, misty attainments that will not survive the fiery furnace that burns with liquid sulphur.
Come to Jesus today, it is the best choice you can ever make. Accepting Him does not insulate you from life challenges. Do not be cajoled to believing instead allow yourself to be convinced beyond reasonable doubts that you are doing the right thing. Be sure I will not lure you into thinking all will be always fine. It will not be a smooth sailing but definitely you will have a safe landing in the harbour of the Crystal Sea. Those challenging time are to prove your devotion, commitments and Love. They are designed to make you better.Jesus Christ is waiting for your response. Waiting to move in and transform your world. He is all you need
A song writer said, "...nothing in this world can satisfy, Jesus you are the cup that won't run dry..."
Then he woke up and alas! It was a dream. He understood it perfectly and knew what to do. Without much ado, he got up , called the very same Janito he perpetually persecuted, the yiubg man who often drops tracts and devotionals on his desk, and humbly asked to be led to Jesus.
That was it! The beginning of a new life. A life never lived. Now, old things have passed away, all past records erased forever by the Blood of the Lamb. Through his simple confession, he had been crucified with Christ and ceased to live as a carnal man but now have allowed Jesus to live through his mortal body quickened to be sensitive and responsive to God. Hallelujah!
Today can be your day of salvation too, my friend. Just say this simple prayer;
Lord Jesus, I am sorry for neglecting you all this while. Please forgive me for pursuing things you created above you, the Creator of all things. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. Help me live for you one day at a time, Sweet Jesus. Thank you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!!!
