From the cradle we felt your care
when we innocently crawled towards the fire

my infantile immunity cannot comprehend that.
I grew to become a teenager
With tendencies and passion crying for expression
you, God, showed me a better to explore them
Without doing regretful things,
you helped redirect them to my talents
I started understanding your Way, Will and Word
they were sweeter than honey in the honeycomb
how you Father me is amazing
the Love you showered on me was and is still overwhelming
My Love for you grew like a bride espoused to her Prince
yet my imperfections punctured what we shared.
I erred and I thought I no longer deserve your generosity
oh, what pain, the pain of separation from my beloved
"Knock knock"... who is at the door?
on opening I met you at the door.
I couldn't comprehend it.
how can, the offended be the one come running for reconciliation?
