Memorable Experiences

Since I have pending post, I'll just summarize them in this one piece and try to be as breve as possible.

1. Beans and I.
You've hard of some gods appeased with different kinds of Items like oil, vow, dove, ram etc.; If i were a demigod I would loved to be appeared with beans.

Now you just understand that different kinds exist

Ewa aganyin

Ewa elepo

Ewa gbigbe and more. Lol.

Some garnish it with crayfish or vegetables. Some even cook it with yam as portage.

It has been my consolation at the time of desperate hunger. I can't see a well prepared beans and prefer other meals( pounded yam with Egusi soup of seven spirit is excluded o)

Was on bike one day and saw a bukateria( local eatery) where beans is bean cook. I saw the bean rise above the pot pushing the cover upwards as if it knew I was passing that way. I was just blushing like a shy lady on her first date. Lol

2. Handshake honorarium

I've been opportune to be a mess anger of the Gospel f Christ through several means especially Music and Word.

My team and I(Sax Angel and the GENERATION OF David) were invited to a program some while ago to minister. And since we don't do "business" with our ministry there wasn't anything about price tag. So we prepared to go and I emptied my account so as to convey my team conveniently. We got there and After a wonderful worship experience and the program ended, the coordinator called greet us and handed us puff puff with a "God bless you handshake" and left. Nothing like honorarium or even fare. It was painful because I layer gathered that they were funded foe such arrangements.

This makes me wonder how many church and ministries/ministers have pushed young people to unnecessary demands for invitation. Its not my place to talk about whether it is right or wrong for someone to charge before going for a ministration. But each Peron should conduct himself according to the revelation. Of the Lord he has. People think they can just surcharge a minister dear to Gods heat nd go free. Lol. I wonder how they expect such ministers to get to the venue of their program. I am wiser and now have a better approach yet not making a personal business out of the King's business.

3. Wild Anger

A friend of mine invited me to perform at his sister's wedding. So I went even though I was feeling symptoms of malaria but had to honour the invitation. On getting there, the sound equipment were getting set so I went to rest inside the house. When the set up was done, some of my other friends who we were to perform together started to notice some guys coming in with musical instruments. "Is this going to be a battle?" they said.

Apparently, a family member of the groom arranged foe them to be there. From their look you'd know they are not alright. Smoking , drinking and all. Hen they saw us, the spirit of rivalry started tormenting them. Unknown to me, there keyboard was behind me as I stood with my sax. Some how the unbalanced keyboard fell off and the drama started. I have them the opportunity to transfer their rivalry aggression to me, innocent me. Their leader walked up to me as I try to pick up the keyboard and he met my smooth face with a "hot" slap. Mhen!, I was dazzled. I almost lost my consciousness as I wonder what I could have one to deserve such harsh pleasantry. The annoying spirit in him wasn't satisfied so he threatened to throw my sweet sax on the ground. He drag it with me until people came to my rescue. Teats dropped from my eyes as the slap cooperated with the feverish conditions that had been disturbing me and I my temperature rose drastically. U was helpless. Could say a word but just walked away. Oh, poor me. Thank God for the Spirit of peace.

4. Basketball or Music

You've heard of "Love and Basketball" but I'm sure you've not seen anything like music an basketball. I wanted to be a basketball player. My Twin started off with the lawn tennis nd I chose the basketball. We wen to the court Saturdays. Unfortunately for me, time for rehearsals was same as time for basketball. I had to chose. The result is what you see today! No regrets.

5. Music and Medicine.

I was so engrossed in music that sometimes I'll be all alone in my Baptist main auditorium worshiping, playing the keyboard, composing ad praying. Then I had not gotten admission to the university so those were part of what I spent my time doing. my gifting became obvious to people around to the extent that a church member who had been watching out for me md do show err me with encouragements offered to register me in a renowned Music Institution in Lagos. He was just bent in seeing me nurture the gift of music. So we went to make enquires with the hope that i'd resume resume ASAP. But then something happened. I had written an entrance exam to the university my choice were I chose medicine and surgery and I was considered for a relative course- Human Anatomy. I went like a confused fellow. So I consulted with to a couple of folks including  my Reverend (Mrs.) O.T Aderibigbe. She made a profound statement that helped me refocus. She said, "Music will heal the soul while Medicine will the body". Hmmmm....I took it in and acted as God inspired. Since I had a thing for the medical sciences, I went ahead and did graduate as a. Bachelor of Technology in Human Anatomy at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. However, My survival there wasn't without Music. God paired the duo, Music medicine, rightly. Thank you Jesus.

Thanks for your patience for the past 22days.

Thank for following through.

These experiences and more I couldn't share are part of the making of what God is orchestrating.

Cheers!!!

I am Gabriel.
