Transformation Is Not Fun!

Whoever told you changes will happen without sacrifice lied to you.

Having a better version of a thing doesn't come cheaply. Some wears and tears here and there precedes the cheers you see. Please don't be deceived by the what you see, because an end product is the outcome of rigorous processing. 

An African adage says a "white pap is produced from a black pot". My dear, transformation is not fun. When something new is about to emerge it holds with it some discomfort. The emergence of a new baby come with labour pain too. If you don't want the pain you are definitely far from getting the gain

If a society is to be developed, some old structures may need to be removed for the modern to be erected. Some will be affected just for that locality to be perfected. 

It will interest you to know that behind the scenes of most action movies features a couple of miscalculated steps by stunts and may lead to some serious injuries. Yet we take our seat at the cinema watching the intriguing moves that might have cost someone a fracture.

When you desire a change in any ramification of your life, from a change of habit to pitching for a contract, to be included in your expectations are discomforts. In fact, this will help you factor way ahead how to deal with such when it eventually shows up. This is not being pessimistic but getting your mind prepared that a little stretch may be involved. 

If you want to attain something great today, be prepared for that little stretch, added hours at work, paying attention to more details, sleepless nights, spending more cash, denying yourself of some pleasures, delay some gratifications, changing your routines, setting aside stereotypical ideas and many more sacrifices depending on what is required of you to achieve that aim.

Jesus Christ summed it up when He said,

“And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].”

Transformation is not fun but having the expected end in mind keeps hope  alive in you!
